The Lord’s Unwavering Provision: Reflections on Challenges & Opportunities at Year’s End

December 31, 2025
Dear Friends,
Here at the end of 2025, I am reflecting on many of the challenges and opportunities that we faced throughout the year. As we were facing them, honestly, some of them were scary. A huge repair bill to our home as a result of Hurricane Milton especially caused us some stress.
Though not a negative thing, helping to pay for our daughter’s wedding increased our financial concerns. But here, on December 31, 2025 the last day of the year, I can joyfully declare that the Lord has been more than just faithful; He has provided all that we needed and blessed our ministries and lives tremendously.
Some of our traveling missionaries, who are part of Projeto Vida, took advantage of the school break and have returned to their respective homes to celebrate the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. They have worked very hard and have earned a few days of rest.
A few of our new churches focused on putting together special evangelistic Christmas presentations. Each of them experienced excellent results. At Pastor Daniel’s work in the Amazon region, there were 1,400 visitors total to the gospel presentations and there were 92 professions of faith in Jesus. That church was established less than 6 years ago with only 8 people as members. The church in Curitiba, in southern Brazil, also had great results to their special programs. The new converts have been plugged into Bible study and discipleship training already.
At the headquarters for Projeto Vida, our traveling evangelistic ministry, we are gearing up for a two-week-long training workshop. We have participants scheduled to participate from several different states in Brazil. I will be teaching the biblical foundations for sharing the gospel and, after the classroom teaching, we’ll take the participating students on an active mission trip for a week of gospel outreach. Besides the privilege of seeing many people come to Christ through this training experience, we also hope and pray that some of these volunteers will hear God’s call to join with us full-time afterward.
Charlene and I wish you all a very blessed New Year.
In Christ love,
Bobby and Charlene Wacaser
